Standard End User License Agreement - Barrett RM Type

The following is the standard license that applies to all my typefaces.

This is an agreement between you, the purchaser and licensee, Barrett Reid-Maroney. By purchasing and installing or otherwise handling the digital typeface software (hereafter fonts), you accept the terms of this agreement.

General Usage Overview:

You are granted one (1) license enabling 1-5 end users within your organization to use the font software for personal and commercial projects.

In addition, the fonts may be on websites within your business with a maximum of 100,000 monthly page views each.

Should you require more end users or monthly page views, contact Barrett Reid-Maroney at barrett.reidmaroney@gmail.com to discuss additional licensing options.

By purchasing any of the these licences, the end user does not recieve the copyright to the design or any other part of the fonts, but the rights to use the fonts as specified in this agreement.

“Within your organization” means usage inside your company or organization, and shall not include usage by clients or other third parties. If one of your clients wishes to use one of the typefaces themselves, they must purchase their own license.

What types of projects can these fonts be used for?

This is a combined Webfont and Desktop license, meaning that purchasers can use the fonts in the following types of projects:

-Logo/branding for one’s own company or the companies of clients

-One’s own website or a client’s site (monthly page views must not exceed limits of licence)

*reminder* clients must purchase their own license should they wish to implement the font in their brand/website beyond what you have designed for them.

-General design purposes, including social media content, posters, book covers, etc.

If a use case you require is not listed here, or if you would like clarification about proper usage, please contact barrett.reidmaroney@gmail.com

You may not modify the fonts in any case, nor commission a third party to modify the fonts.

You may not distribute, lend, rent, sell, give away, publicly or privately share any modified or unmodified version of the fonts.

If you do experience any difficulties with my fonts, I will look into the problem to the best of my abilities. I do not guarantee that the font files work perfectly on every platform, operating system etc.

All purchases are final. I do not offer any refunds or exchanges for other font files.

Any breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement terminates your license to use the fonts. After any termination of the agreement you must destroy any copies of the fonts, including your archival copies.
